Foothill People's Porter

Pours a dark brown to black with a tan head. Aroma has lots of coffee, roasted malts, some dark chocolate. Flavor is complex including hints of dark chocolate and coffee with a slight roasted bitterness. Medium bodied. 5.7%

Foothill Hoppium

This traditional IPA pours a crystal clear honey golden, with a strong aroma of piney hops. A grapefruit flavor dominates the taste and long dry finish. 5.8% abv.

Bear Republic Stout

This tastes what a Russian-style Imperial Stout should taste like. All rich, big, bold, and roasty with a beautiful hop underpinning. The flavor is intense so if you think you can't handle it, leave it to the pros. 8.1% ABV just to let you know.

Breckenridge Christmas

This seaonal Christmas ale is a Strong Ale. This is a dark brew that is warm and rich with hints of caramel and chocolate. This beer has extra flavor and strength at 7.4%

 Carolina Winter Porter

Specially roasted malts, a top fermenting yeast and an abundance of whole, fresh hops combine to create this beer. This dark, rich beer has subtle chocolate, coffee and toffee notes.

Delirium Noel

The beer smells like a Belgium beer with fruit and spice. The color is a pale brown, and very hazy. The taste is sour, and fruity with a bit of spice. The fruit taste is like raisin or some other dark fruit. There is also a warming to this beer. The sourness seems to mellow. The mouthfeel is heavy and smooth, except when too much sediment gets drank. A clean finish with just the warmth and a bit spice.

Dogfish Head India Brown

A cross between a Scotch ale, a Brown Ale and an IPA. This beer is well-hopped and malty at the same time. It is brewed with Aromatic barley and caramelized brown sugar. Notes of molasses, coffee, ginger, raisinettes & chocolate.

Gordon Biersch Winter Bock

This double bock is deep ruby to almost brown in color with an aroma of toffee and caramel. Big in body with hints of raisin, plum, and chocolate malts throughout the taste.
7.50 ABV.

Sierra Celebration

A reddish copper colored Fall Seasonal pale ale or is it an IPA. The aroma has caramel malt, fruit and HOPS. The malt gives enough backbone to support the intense hop levels. This is always a fall favorite.

 

Scaldis Noel

 

Referred to as Bush de Noel in Belgium, this strong ale is sweet with a pleasant flavor of hops. The brewer uses a traditional process which consists of placing hop flowers in the vats where the beer rests for four to six weeks. After six weeks the beer will have reached full maturity, giving it a very distinctive taste. 12%

 

Stoudts American Pale Ale

 

A classic american pale ale pouring a light copper color. Aromas of earthy hops with a light citrus finish and some earthy tones. A balanced earthy hop to malty sweetness flavor. 5.00 ABV.

Avery Ale to the Chief  

This limited edition Imperial IPA pours a clear dark copper with a thick 3 finger head. Aromas are of pine, citrus, floral hops and hints of sweet malts. A bitter hop burst with a balanced malt presence then back to some citrus and earthy hops. One worthy for the Oval Office. 8.75 ABV.

Bear Republic Red Rocket

Red Rocket is a full bodied, hoppy American strong ale. In aroma and taste it is very complex and finishes on the pallet with smooth caramel malts. Centennial and Cascade hops are used for bittering and aroma. 6.8% abv.

Boulder Hazed & Infused

This American Pale ale comes in at 4.85% abv and has a hazy amber appearance. It is unfiltered adn dry-hopped. Citrus hop aroma with pine and similar flavors with some bready maltiness. Snappy hop finish.

Der Hirschbrau Dopple-Hirsh

This Dopplebock pours a deep ruby brown with complex aromas of dark fruits, malts and alcohol. A semi sweet flavor with a good malt backbone and fruits to follow. 7.20 ABV.

Der Hirschbrau Hefe-Weiss

Pours a hazy crystal yellow with a mellow white head. Bananas and clove in the aroma with much of the same in the flavor paired with light bready notes and spices. 4.70 ABV.

Dogfish Head Palo Santo

Not your typical American brown, this beer sit at 12% and it aged in Paraquayan Palo Santo wood barrels. Pour a rich dark brown with a frothy tan head. The aromas are a complex pear, chocolate, and earthy fruits. The taste is a blend of sweet and bold flavors; dark fruits, vanilla, brown sugar, alcohol.

Great Divide Yeti

Yeti is an onslaught of the senses. Black in color with some ruby around the edges. Brewed with 7 different malts, it opens with a big roasted flavor then gives way to rich caramel and toffee notes. Big hop character at 75 IBU's & strong at 9.5% abv.

Malheur 10

This Belgian Strong Ale pours a orange gold color, slighty cloudy, with a small white but lacey head. A big fruity aroma of vanilla-honey and floral hops. This creamy textured beer is accompanied by spicy citrus notes and sweet honey balenced by a noticable hop bitterness in the finish. 10% ABV.

 

Moylans Hopsickle

 

This Imperial IPA pours a rustic but refinned deep copper color with aromas of pineapple, grapefruit, and small notes of alcohol. The flavor is an floral citrus hop explosion balanced by smooth malts. 9.20 ABV.

N'ice Chouffe

Deep hazy, caramel color; full-bodied and highly hopped with malt overtones. Winter seasonal.

North Coast Old #38

Named for a retired steam engine on the Ft.Bragg-Willits Skunk run through the California Redwoods, Old No.38 Stout is a smooth, firm-bodied stout with the toasted character and coffee notes of dark malts and roasted barley.

Sam Adams Chocolate Bock

  This Sam special offering pours a deep ruby brown with a light tan head. The aroma is of chocolate and a bit of sweet toffee over a lighter body than you would expect. Flavor is definitely of the darker chocolate variety miwed with a very sweet malt. Finish is sweet, yet surprisingly dry. Comes in a special limited edition bottle with faux pewter labeling

South Hampton Alt

 Pours a clear dark brown with small fizzy head. Light aromas of munich malt and noble hops. Flavor is toasty with some caramel and light brown sugar notes.

South Hampton Double White

A "double strength" version of a classic belgain wit which pours a hazy straw-gold color, and a faomy white head. Barnyard scents with coriander and other spices, and underlying noble hops. Flavor is of strong spices, mellow citrus and wheat notes with a twist of hops. 7.00 ABV.

Ommegang Ommegeddon

Pours similar to a German Pilsner. However, this orange - golden beer is a wild ale with lively carbonation. The aroma is similar to a Saison with ripe citrus and spice with a mild funkiness from the use of Brettanomyces yeast. The flavor is sweet and then sour with some earthiness. It is very smooth yet well carbonated and dry. 8% ABV (but hardly noticeable.)

Ommegang Chocolate Indulgence

A Belgian dark ale brewed to celebrate a decade of brewing, pours a rustic deep brown with a thick tan head. Aromas are of roasty toastsy chocolates. Roasted malts, and creamy smooth coco notes are abundent. 7% ABV

 

Rochefort 8

 

A Belgian Strong Ale, this dark brown beer has a delightfully sweet aroma of brown sugar and plum. Medium to full in body with a rich flavor of figs, plums, raisins, toffee and malts and a warming alcoholic finish.

 

Rochefort 10

 

The top product from the Rochefort Trappist brewery. This beer is a powerhouse at 11.3 percent alcohol. Deep brown with red highlights under a rocky tan head. Strong plum, raisin, and black currant palate, with ascending notes of vinousness and other complexities.

 

Samichlaus

 

Extremely strong in flavor and potency; densely malty creaminess with some yeast notes; fullness in body with brandy-like alcohol finish; dark brown in color.

 

Stoudts Pilsner

 

Stoudt's Pils is the perfect example of the traditional German style. It is straw colored, crisp, delicate with a firm bitterness, floral hop aroma, and a pleasant malt balance. 4.7% abv.

 

Victory Saison

 

This Belgian sylte Farmhouse ale or Saison pours a clear golden yellow with some light yeast sediment and a fluffy white head. Aromas are an earthy mix of bananas, apple pear and yeast. The aromas continue in the flavor along with orange zest, some honey and light spices. 7.50 ABV.

 

Westmalle Dubbel

 

This trappist ale is the definition of the dubbel style. Russet-brown with a fluffy tan head and shows aromatics of raisin-bread, plums, dates and bananas. Soft, but complex fruit, chocolate and an overall impression of a tawny port. Clean and dry finish with moderate lingering bitterness. 7.0% ABV

 

Westmalle Triple

 

Hazy golden color with a nice white head that lasts! I tried this beer many times in Belgium and kept going back for more. The aroma is fruity and spicy (pepper and hops) with a perfumed alcohol air about it. A flavor of bubblegum at first taste that faded into the juicy tropical fruits spiked with a gentle spiced clove and pepper. This beer has lively carbonation and a lingering bitter finish. 9.5% ABV
