Karbach Pontificator $5.50 8.5% Doppelbock
Houston, TX
Full bodied and warming, Pontificator is a strong German style Doppelbock. Aroma is cherry and beechwood smoked malt with a hint of chocolate. With rich clean malt character, derived from significant amounts of Munich malt and a decoction mash, Pontificator satiates the palate. A bit of dark fruit flavor can be perceived in the finish. At 8.5% ABV, enjoy the spring offering carefully.

The result is a much fruitier beer with a variety of interesting notes that work quite well with all the Cascade hops used to brew Elissa. Try it side by side with an Elissa so you can taste the difference.

This belgian style wit pours a rustic yellow orange color. The aroma is of coriander, clove and wheat. A well balanced thin bodied wit.

Pours nearly black with a thick off white head. Coffee, roasty malts and hints of hop and pecan are found in the aroma. Flavor is a smooth well balanced roasty malt, and coffee with a pecan finish.
Lagunitas Cappuccino Stout $4.75 7.9% Stout
Petaluma, CA
Pours almost black with a thin tan head. The aroma has roasted malt and a slight coffee note. The coffee flavor in this brew is subtle enough to enjoy this as a stout. Nice smooth mellow body. A bit creamy even.

At 9.5% ABV and black as oil, Hellfighter Imperial Porter is definitely a sipper. With roasted coffee and chocolate malt characteristics, this brew is full flavored and big on the palate. The rich character gives way to a nice roasted finish.
Sierra Nevada Torpedo $4.75 7.2% India Pale Ale

This beer pours a nice clear orange, with a fluffy white head. Medium bodied, this American IPA starts off with a creamy caramel sweetness in addition to its nice hop characteristics that cast off hints of grapefruit and pine. Very well-balanced for an IPA.
Sierra Nevada Ruthless Rye $4.75 6.6% India Pale Ale
Chico, CA
Pours a sunset amber with a small off white head. The smell of crisp hops and lots of zesty citrus aromas assault your nose. The rye lends a great spicy backround and a nice 'fresh loaf of bread' note. This new brew has the classic Sierra Nevada mouthfeel, chewy and hoppy, but not long lasting on the bitterness.

Sam Adams Infinium $32.00 10.3% Biere de Champagne
Boston, MA
A collaboration between Sam Adams and Weihenstephan (the oldest brewery in the world), this is a Biere Brut/Biere de Champagne. Pours a clear light amber with a large white head. Well carbonated with fine small bubbles similar to sparkling wine. Up front aromas are grapes, bread, and citrus hops. Sweet malts, light spices, yeast, grapes, and banana make up the flavor profile. Medium in body with an effervescent mouthfeel.
Oskar Blues Old Chub $4.75 8% Scottish Ale
Longmont, CO
Old Chub Scottish-style ale is brewed with copious amounts of crystal and chocolate malts and a dash of beechwood-smoked malts. This dark amber colored beer features a dense, tawny head and a creamy mouthfeel. Flavors of caramel, chocolate, and lightly roasted malt are perfect for cool weather. Mild smokiness towards the end.

Kasteel Rouge $16 8% Belgian Ale
Ingelmunster, BelgiumA Belgian re-incarnation of a kreik; this is a blended bruin and a kreik, 8% ABV, highly drinkable and easier on the palate compared to a true lambic kreik. Pouring dark, moderate lace, with hints of almond and cherry in the aroma. Flavor is of sweet cherry, soft on the palate without any complexity with a slight acidity in the finish.
